OUR EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN AND CEO
Edward Kaftarian, M.D., is an internationally acclaimed expert and pioneer in the field of Telepsychiatry. As a member of the American Psychiatric Association’s Telepsychiatry Committee, he significantly influences governmental policy in this domain. He also plays a key role in shaping educational programs as a member of the Steering Committee for PsychCongress, the largest independent mental health educational conference in the United States.
As former Vice Chair of Mental Health for the American Telemedicine Association, Dr. Kaftarian has made substantial contributions to virtual health, notably co-authoring “Best Practices in Videoconferencing-Based Telemental Health,” among other significant publications and book chapters.
A respected lecturer, Dr. Kaftarian imparts his extensive knowledge on telepsychiatry’s rules and regulations to healthcare organizations, universities, and residency programs throughout the nation.
He received his psychiatry training at the renowned Johns Hopkins University and holds board certifications in Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Arshya Vahabzadeh, MD is a nationally recognized leader in psychiatry, innovation, and medical leadership. As a Harvard-trained physician and former faculty member at Harvard Medical School, he brings an unparalleled level of expertise to his work. He holds a triple board certification in child & adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and addiction medicine, as well as additional training in family medicine, gaining membership by examination of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
His remarkable achievements have earned him numerous national and international awards in healthcare, innovation, and mental health, including the 40 under 40 award in Healthcare, Excellence in Medicine Leadership Award of the American Medical Association, the Leadership Fellowship of the American Psychiatric Association, and the Laughlin Fellowship of the American College of Psychiatrists.
Dr. Vahabzadeh’s academic work, research, commentaries, and thoughts have appeared in high impact medical journals and authoritative texts in neurobiology and mental health. His research has spanned genetics, social neuroscience, experimental psychopharmacology, and neurotechnology.
As a sought-after expert speaker and judge, he has been invited to participate in competitions focusing on innovation and novel therapies at Harvard, Google, MedTechBoston, and Autism Speaks.With his dynamic approach to psychiatry and medical leadership, Dr. Vahabzadeh is an inspiration to all those he works with. His insights and contributions have been invaluable to the field, and he continues to make a positive impact on the lives of his patients and colleagues.
